Our Vision

We envision a stronger, more compassionate Africa—where every orphaned child, regardless of their ethnicity, family background, or the hardships they've endured, has the opportunity to thrive. Our vision is a continent where no child is left behind and where access to basic human needs is not a privilege, but a right.

Across sub-Saharan Africa, over 52 million children are orphaned—many as a result of war, displacement, disease, or extreme poverty. These children often grow up without stable homes, access to quality education, proper healthcare, or even daily meals. In the war-torn region of Tigray, Ethiopia, the need is especially urgent. Thousands of children have been separated from their families, and entire communities have been destroyed.

Foundation With Purpose exists to help restore dignity, security, and opportunity to these children. We believe that with the right support, every child has the potential to lead a meaningful and productive life. Our long-term vision is to help create communities across the Horn of Africa where children are safe, families are whole, and future generations are empowered to build lasting peace and prosperity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide direct, life-changing support to orphaned children and families affected by conflict, poverty, and displacement in the Horn of Africa—beginning with the region of Tigray, Ethiopia.

We work to meet the most urgent needs of vulnerable children by focusing on five key areas:

1. Nutrition and Feeding Programs
   We ensure that children and families affected by crisis have consistent access to healthy, nutritious meals.

2. Education and School Support
   We provide scholarships and school supplies—including books, uniforms, and shoes—to help children continue their education despite the challenges they face.

3. Safe Shelter and Housing Support
   We assist in rebuilding and supporting homes for families who have been displaced or left without shelter due to war and disaster.

4. Healthcare and Sanitation
   We promote basic health by facilitating access to clean water, hygiene supplies, and essential health services.

5. Family Reunification and Emotional Support
   We partner with local organizations to help locate and reunite children with surviving family members, and to provide emotional care for those who have lost loved ones.
